Story Map

Creating a story map is a way to help you understand and summarize the stories you read.  When you make a story map, you identify the basic story elements, such as the characters, setting, conflict, and important plot events.

Title: The painting lesson

Characters: Mr Toggins Mrs Zest painting bush

Conflict or Problems faced between characters: Mr Toggins stole the magic paintbrush The paint went to the other homes

Setting: Mr Toggins took the paintbrush with no permission

The Plot - (Events 1-4) You can add more events if you need to

Event 1: Mrs Zest all weas change her  to colours house

Event 2: Mr Toggins took the paintbrush

Event 3: Mr Toggins paint his house

Event 4: The Paintbrush went to the others houses
